My Dear Emma and Annie

It seems like only yesterday when I held both of you for the first time. You were the best thing that could happen to Aaba and Mama. Time really flies and you are already six years old and  studying in Class I. May be someday in a wink of time we will be moving around for your higher studies. Mama and Aaba always think of those time and dream big dreams for you. It will be most fulfilling to see you fly away to make a mark in the world and build a world of your own.

But before you fly away continue to fill our homes with your laughter and with your occasional cries. Run around the house throw some things around, knock some flower pots with your scooters while you ride it in the veranda. If Mama will shout at us we will just look at each other and laugh like we always do or may be we will say Rocky (our doggy) did it and giggle.

Before you fly away snuggle between Mama and Aaba before sleep like you always do, each competing to be with Aaba or Mama as your mood desires. Sleep peacefully in our arms tired of the School and the constant plays at home. Nothing looks more peaceful than you two sleeping and nothing makes us sleep better that to hold you in our arms. Its tempting sometimes to just wake you when the night becomes so serene when you are in your dream world.

Before you fly away, keep waiting for me behind the doors on your Mama’s que and frighten me with your boos whenever I returned from office. Refresh me with the stories of your friends and not so friendly mates from your school and the school van. Bring me water that you two loved to do.

Before you fly away , throw tantrum around , reprimand Aaba for even looking at you with squeaked eyes. Beat Aaba for talking to you in a harsh tone. Scold Aaba for not being home from office on time and for bringing things that are not your favorites. For there is an unsaid rule in our Home, except for Mama no body can dare touch or say a word to the Princesses .

Before you fly away reign our little kingdom for here the King and Queen are way below the two little Princesses…
